Makin' it work

Dragging my butt to the bike was a chore tonight. But I decided to have a cold one while I did my "recovery ride", and that helped a little.


Then we dove into the little treat I made afterwards. Yeah, the two of us ate HALF of it. Why is it I'm SO hungry on RECOVERY week??

Oh well. It was a "fruit pizza". That makes it GOOD for me, right?

Drinking during recovery aides the muscles to heal. I know when I drink after a good ride my quads just burn from it:o
